Five Easy Ways to Pay Your Bill

Kirkwood makes getting a quality education easier with multiple payment options for your convenience. You can choose to pay online, in person at the Financial Aid Office or a dropbox, by postal mail, or set up a convenient payment plan.

Tuition is due Aug. 1 for fall classes, Jan. 1 for winter classes, and May 1 for summer classes.

Registration may be cancelled if your tuition is not paid in full or no payment arrangement is made by the tuition due date. If your registration is cancelled, you must pay for your classes or drop them by the last day to drop to avoid being billed.

Please note: Telling a staff/faculty member you’re planning to drop or not attending class will not cancel your registration or bill.

Kirkwood offers convenient, interest-free installment payment plans to help you afford college. Rather than a loan, tuition payment plans spread tuition and fee costs over a set number of equal installments on fixed dates each month.

Payments are made by automatic withdrawal from a checking or savings account or from a credit or debit card. If a class is added or dropped, or charges are added to the student account, the installment amount will change to incorporate the new totals.

To enroll in a payment plan, login to MyHub. Under My Profile select Billing & Payments and then select “Set up plans” under the Payment Plan section. Questions? Contact Accounts Receivable at: 319-398-5631 or by email.

Every year in late January, you’ll receive information showing the total tuition billed over the previous year. This can help you claim The American Opportunity Tax Credit when filing federal income tax forms.

To receive this information, be sure you’ve provided the One Stop office with a valid mailing address. You can also elect to receive these documents electronically by completing the 1098 Electronic Consent form on MyHub. To complete the form, go to: “Self Service” then “Tax Information.”
