Am I Eligible?
Students who complete a four- or five-year apprenticeship program (defined by a minimum of 8,000 hours of OJL and 576 hours of RTI) approved by the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeship (OA) can automatically articulate 46 college credits toward completion of the Skilled Trades associate of applied science (A.A.S.) degree. This leaves only 18 credit hours of prescribed general education courses (6 classes) needed to earn the A.A.S. degree.
You can start working on these six classes while finishing your apprenticeship training because all six classes are offered during the daytime, evenings, and online.
